The 2008 Arctic Thunder Air Show has been recognized by the State as the kick-off event of the statehood celebration!
As many Alaskans know, we begin a year-long celebration of the 50th anniversary of statehood in June of 2008. You will be pleased to learn that the 2008 Arctic Thunder air show is now recognized by the State of Alaska as the kick-off for this year long celebration.

The USAF Alaska and Alaska Air Show Association are proud to present the 2008 Alaska Air Show, June 28th and 29th 2008 at Elmendorf Air Force Base.
Returning as the premier performer for the 2008 Air Show will be the USAF Thunderbirds Demonstration Team!
Other headline performers include: Debbie Gary, Greg Poe, Jon Melby, Marcus Paine, F-15, F-22, C-17 Demos + Heritage Flight & More.

A reminder to all of our Arctic Thunder fans & partners, there is no air show scheduled for 2007. The Alaskan Air Force Command has directed that the Arctic Thunder Air Show is scheduled every other year.
Sadly this means the next Arctic Thunder air show is scheduled for summer 2008. The official air show dates will be officially announced in January 2008 and we wil, of course, post those dates here.
